This mid-century modern home was designed for our client, Charlie, and his family, who love to entertain.

Charlie owns a tile and construction business and wanted to showcase both his products and craftsmanship. He wanted something contemporary, something that would be truly unique and stand the test of time. Most of all he wanted a space that would suit his young family now and into the future.

The house features a large open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that connects to the outdoor entertaining space. Large glass doors slide and disappear into the wall to enable a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces. No expense has been spared with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen perfect for entertaining guests on a warm summer night. Imported marble is used extensively on the fireplace and kitchen which is equipped with a large scullery ensuring any mess is concealed from guests. Sheer blinds add some drama, lightly moving in the breeze adding warmth and softening the sharp contemporary lines of the building.
