East Fremantle

Our clients, Rhys and Renee, engaged us to revitalise their dated house in East Fremantle back in April 2018. The client initially purchased the property for it’s fantastic location and potential ocean views. We opened up the entry and replaced the dining space with a set of steel and timber stairs allowing us to pull northern light down into the previously dark entry and kitchen area. A second storey was added to the house giving the client the 4 bedrooms that they required. By having the neighboring property surveyed we were able to locate the master bedroom between the 2 adjoining townhouses allowing us to maximise views of the ocean. Deep reveals allowed us to provide some shade from the Western Sun whilst providing a bit of drama to the elevation.
