This was the first development for two young professionals whose background was in accounting and marketing. Given their initial level of experience, the guys were happy enough to leave it with us to try and maximise the site’s development potential. The site itself had a cross fall of 4m and was an odd shape, the site also had 6 verge trees that had to be retained.

Our design response looked to consolidate all the parking to the rear of the site to allow all 15 apartments to have access to northern light. We varied the apartments in terms of design and accommodation types in order to create uniqueness within the development. This meant that if a buyer liked a particular apartment there wasn’t another one like it available. This puts more urgency on a buyer to commit to putting in an offer that would secure the property and puts overall upward pressure on sales prices.

All 15 apartments sold out within 6 weeks of listing setting new sales records in the process. Our clients have since left their original jobs and are now full-time developers.
